Москва. 29 марта. — Сирийская арабская армия (САА) провела операцию против членов группировки «Джебхат ан-Нусры» (запрещена в РФ) в ответ на проведенные экстремистами ночью обстрелы в провинции Алеппо, сообщает в пятницу агентство SANA.
«Подразделения наших вооруженных сил, действующие в западной сельской местности Алеппо, нанесли тяжелые потери террористам», — приводит агентство заявление министерства обороны страны.
Отмечается, что САА атаковала членов «Джебхат ан-Нусры» и других террористических группировок после того, как они напали на несколько армейских постов в этом районе.
Вместе с тем SANA сообщает, что ночная атака «Джебхат ан-Нусры» по времени совпала с атакой групп, связанных с «Исламским государством» (террористическая группировка, запрещена в РФ), по некоторым армейским позициям в Пальмире, а также — с авиаударам Израиля по Алеппо.
Ранее сирийские СМИ передавали, что Армия обороны Израиля (ЦАХАЛ) нанесла авиаудары по нескольким населенным пунктам в Алеппо. В результате атаки были поражены ракетные склады группировки «Хезболла» в южном пригороде Алеппо Джибрине. Также атака «привела к гибели и ранениям ряда гражданских лиц и военнослужащих».

Эти события привели к тому, что некоторые группировки на Ближнем Востоке активизировали атаки против американских сил в Ираке и Сирии. Вместе с тем израильские военные периодически наносят удары по сирийской территории. Обычно их целью становятся иранские военные советники, позиции поддерживающей Дамаск ливанской группировки «Хезболла».
